Welcome to the Walla Walla Valley Quilt Guild!
The Guild meets the 2nd Tuesday of every Month
at Blue Mountain Community Church,
928 Sturm Street Walla Walla, WA
The mission of the Walla Walla Valley Quilt Guild is to inspire the art of quilt making through monthly organization meetings, special educational classes, sew in days, and community service projects. All of these opportunities allow Walla Walla area quilters to have fun and fellowship with each other while enjoying the art of Quilting. During monthly meetings Guild business is discussed as well as giving our members an opportunity to show and share their latest works, participate in the monthly block lotto, and support our education fund with monthly raffle baskets. In addition the Guild has a small lending library of books that members may borrow. Members are also welcome to donate gently used books on quilting for our library.
Dues for the Walla Walla Valley Quilt Guild are $20.00 per year. The funds are used to cover expenses of guest speakers, course offerings, community service projects, etc. Dues are paid at the beginning of each calendar year or when joining and members current with their dues are afforded discounts for some Guild events and classes and receive a discount at some of the area quilt stores (see the resources page for details).
Each member is encouraged to wear a name tag (of their own creation) at each Guild meeting. If the member forgets to wear his or her name tag to a Guild meeting, he or she is assessed a quarter for each year that they have been a member.
