October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Celebrating 25 years of Awareness, Education, and Empowerment
In recognition of this, Walla Walla Sew and Vac and Spas and Janome America will raffle off a limited edition Janome DC4030PR sewing machine. Stop in and see us to pick up the breast cancer awareness brochure, and enter to win the Janome Sewing Machine.

Project Linus

This wonderful volunteer program provides handmade security blankets to children in need of comfort. We invite you to come sew, tie, or label quilts with us. We have something for everyone to do, any time! Sewing machine is optional, and just a little of your time will help!

We meet once a month on alternate Tuesdays and Saturdays.
We will meet:

Saturdays -- 12 noon to 3 pm.

Learn how to pin, mark,and stitch your quilt to enhance the beauty of the piecing. Learn straight line and free-motion quilting, including stipple and echo.

These adorable witches swing their legs as they ride broomsticks across the night sky. Use the Buggy Barn technique to stack & cut fat quarters, shuffle the pieces, and sew back together. You will also learn wool applique.

The More Perfect Purse Insert
Make an insert so you can just lift your purse contents out of one purse and drop them into your new purse. The insert is 11 " x 4" with pockets just the way you want them. The insert will fit inside the Mini-Bow-Tucks purse or the purse being taught in the "More Perfect Purse" class on Nov. 10. Pattern provided.

Coffee Cup Sleeve
Bring your favorite empty paper coffee cup and a few supplies and we will show you how to make a coffee cup sleeve for it. Take your new pattern and knowledge home and make several for gifts or to sell at holiday craft bazaars. Pattern included.
